We Just Made This Up responds to reports of copyright infringement and to reports of content that violates our Terms of Service — including content that defames or harasses a real person, or anything you believe is unlawful.

How to file a report

Email legal@wejustmadethisup.com with the following:

1. A link to the specific paper or page in question.
2. A description of the material and why it should be removed (copyright claim, defamation, unlawful content, etc.).
3. For copyright claims: identification of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
4. Your contact information.

What happens next

Valid reports are reviewed by a human moderator. We may remove or unpublish the content, flag it for further review, or reject the report and explain why. Every moderation decision — automated or human — is logged internally for audit purposes.

Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe this was in error, reply to the same address with an explanation. We will review and respond.
