Internal Sterilization via Single Malt Protocol Combined with Infrared Thermal Acceleration and Cold Shock Recovery Therapy in a Single Enlarged Aorta Patient: A Longitudinal 8-Year Case Study with Surprisingly Positive Results

Abstract

This paper presents findings from an unprecedented 8-year longitudinal case study examining the cardiovascular effects of daily internal sterilization via Canadian whisky protocol — hereafter referred to as the McCauley Internal Sterilization Method (MISM) — combined with infrared sauna thermal acceleration therapy and cold shower recovery protocol, collectively designated the McCauley Four Pillar Wellness System (M4PWS). The single-patient study, conducted entirely without ethics board approval, institutional oversight, cardiologist knowledge, or indeed any awareness from the medical establishment whatsoever, presents compelling evidence that conventional cardiovascular management wisdom regarding enlarged aortic conditions may be significantly enhanced — or at minimum not worsened — by the addition of approximately two shots of Crown Royal or Old Forester whisky administered on a semi-regular basis, concurrent with infrared sauna sessions occurring no fewer than five times per week and immediately followed by cold shower immersion of undisclosed duration. The patient, a 48-year-old Canadian male diagnosed with an enlarged aorta in approximately 2018 and informed of less than 50% surgical survival odds, remains alive at time of publication. This finding alone, the authors submit, warrants serious academic consideration, peer review, and possibly a significant research grant. 1. Introduction

Aortic dilation, colloquially referred to as an enlarged aorta, is a condition in which the aorta — the largest blood vessel in the human body — becomes abnormally widened, creating risk of dissection or rupture if left unmanaged (Smith et al., 2019; Jones, 2021; Some Other People, 2022). Conventional medical management typically involves regular imaging surveillance, blood pressure management, activity modification, and in severe cases, surgical intervention (Canadian Cardiovascular Society, 2020).

What conventional medicine has conspicuously failed to investigate, however, is the potential therapeutic role of the following combined protocol:

- Daily Dominican cigar-mediated air pre-filtration (addressed in companion Paper 2)
- Semi-regular internal sterilization via 2-shot Crown Royal or Old Forester whisky administration
- Infrared sauna thermal acceleration therapy, minimum 5 sessions per week
- Immediate post-sauna cold shower recovery protocol

This oversight represents a significant gap in the cardiovascular literature that the present study seeks, in its modest single-patient way, to begin to address.

The patient in this study was diagnosed approximately 8-9 years prior to publication with an enlarged aorta and was informed by his medical team of a surgical survival rate of less than 50%, with elevated stroke risk in surviving patients. Rather than pursue the recommended surgical pathway, the patient elected to continue living his life, monitor the condition through periodic nuclear stress testing at a facility in Guelph, Ontario, and implement the M4PWS protocol described herein.

The patient reports that upon reaching year five post-diagnosis without any meaningful change in aortic dimensions, he, and we quote, 'snapped out of it and got back to living.' The authors find this to be both medically remarkable and philosophically instructive.

2.2 The McCauley Four Pillar Wellness System (M4PWS)

The M4PWS protocol was self-administered by the patient throughout the study period with no modifications, no breaks, and no medical supervision. The four pillars were applied in the following order:

Pillar 1: Internal Sterilization (Crown Royal / Old Forester Whisky)
The patient administered approximately two shots of either Crown Royal Canadian whisky or Old Forester bourbon whisky on several occasions per week. The theoretical basis for this pillar rests on the well-established bactericidal properties of ethanol, extrapolated by the patient — without formal training — to an internal application model. As the patient articulates the hypothesis: 'If alcohol cleans wounds on the outside, it stands to reason it cleans the insides too.' The authors note that no peer-reviewed literature supports this hypothesis. The authors also note the patient has not had a cold or influenza in many years.

Pillar 2: Infrared Sauna Thermal Acceleration Therapy
The patient utilised an infrared sauna no fewer than five sessions per week throughout the study period. The patient reports that whisky administration and sauna sessions were frequently concurrent, a delivery method the authors have designated the McCauley Simultaneous Thermal-Internal Sterilization Protocol (MSTISP). The theoretical basis for thermal therapy in cardiovascular health has some legitimate scientific support (Laukkanen et al., 2018), which the authors include here to add credibility to an otherwise unhinged paper.

Pillar 3: Cold Shower Recovery Protocol
Immediately following each sauna session, the patient administered a cold shower of undisclosed temperature and duration. Cold water immersion has documented physiological effects including vagal stimulation, norepinephrine release, and cardiovascular conditioning (Shevchuk, 2008). The patient describes the cold shower as something that 'wakes you right up,' a description the authors find both accurate and insufficient for publication in a rigorous journal, though we include it anyway.

Pillar 4: Sustained Water Consumption with Periodic Whisky Supplementation
The patient reports consuming water as his primary beverage for no fewer than 4 years, with whisky as the sole supplementary beverage. Coffee, carbonated beverages, and juices are entirely absent from the protocol. The patient reports that upon being required to consume ginger ale during a nuclear stress test — his preferred cardiac monitoring modality — he found the experience 'horrible,' suggesting complete palate recalibration consistent with the sustained M4PWS protocol.

3. Results

3.1 Primary Outcome: Aortic Dimensions
Over the 8-9 year study period, the patient underwent multiple nuclear stress tests at a facility in Guelph, Ontario, preceded by standard stress tests that the patient reports 'never work out,' necessitating escalation to the nuclear protocol each time. Aortic dimensions have remained sufficiently stable to avoid surgical intervention for the entirety of the study period. The authors consider this the primary positive outcome.

3.3 Whisky Administration Findings
The patient reports no adverse cardiovascular events associated with whisky administration during sauna sessions. The authors note this may be because such events have not been formally studied, or because the M4PWS protocol confers genuine protection, or possibly both. We prefer the latter interpretation for obvious reasons.

4. Discussion

The findings of this study are, to put it mildly, difficult to explain within the framework of conventional cardiovascular medicine. A 48-year-old male, diagnosed with an enlarged aorta and given less than 50% surgical survival odds, has survived 8-9 years without surgical intervention, without any conventional pharmacological management beyond periodic nuclear stress testing, and while consuming whisky in an infrared sauna.

Several hypotheses may account for these findings:

- Hypothesis 1: The McCauley Four Pillar Wellness System genuinely confers cardiovascular protection through mechanisms not yet elucidated by conventional medicine.
- Hypothesis 2: The patient's aortic condition was always more stable than initially presented, and the protocol is incidental.
- Hypothesis 3: Canadians are simply built differently.
- Hypothesis 4: Crown Royal has undiscovered cardioprotective properties that Diageo has failed to research, representing a significant missed marketing opportunity.

The authors favour Hypothesis 1 and Hypothesis 3, with Hypothesis 4 considered a promising avenue for industry-funded follow-up research.

Of particular note is the complete cessation of all respiratory illness following protocol adoption. The patient reports zero colds and zero influenza episodes for many years, a finding that would be remarkable in any population but is especially noteworthy given the patient's concurrent high-risk exposure profile during the COVID-19 pandemic, detailed extensively in the companion Paper 2.

The authors wish to address the obvious limitation that this study involves exactly one patient, who is also the lead author, who designed his own protocol, who administered it to himself without supervision, and who did not inform his cardiologist at any point. We acknowledge that these factors may introduce certain methodological concerns. We invite critics to note, however, that the patient is alive, which is more than the surgical odds suggested was likely. We rest our case.

5. Conclusion

The McCauley Four Pillar Wellness System — comprising whisky-based internal sterilization, infrared sauna thermal acceleration, cold shower recovery therapy, and sustained water consumption — appears to be associated with 8-9 years of stable aortic dimensions, zero respiratory illness, zero COVID-19 infection, and a generally positive outlook on life in a 48-year-old Canadian male who was told he might not make it.

We do not recommend that readers adopt this protocol without consulting a physician. We note, however, that the patient has not consulted a physician about this protocol either, and he seems to be doing fine.

Further research is urgently recommended, preferably funded, and ideally conducted in a facility with a good infrared sauna and a well-stocked bar.
